Thank you for this information. I am a potter, and I’m about to make an indoor garden pot for my husband’s collection of carnivorous plants. Your article has helped me in the design of the pot. It will be wide and not too deep, with a double bowl system – an internal and external bowl that will have spacer bumps to keep the inner bowl from resting on the external bowl. The internal bowl will have no glaze, and the external bowl will be completely glazed so it can catch any drips from the internal bowl which will have the plants in it. A tall and narrow unglazed terracotta bottle will be in the centre of the inner bowl to receive water which will slowly leak into the surrounding soil. The whole arrangement will be mounted on it’s own pedestal to give the pot height near a closed sunny window.

What is the best butter for one with elevated cholesterol. I will not give it up. I’d rather die happy than live without butter.

In reply to Sarah. I agree! Never ever let them get near your home either. They will grown under your siding and destroy it!! As much as I love this I would never ever have it again unless it was out in the middle of a meadow far from buildings. There is no way to get rid of the shoots!
